BELIEF

After we’ve seen many many miracles, we finally are brought to realize this: Omnipotence has made Its demonstration and shown me Its illumined face. No amount of further proofs can ever convince the doubt that wanders in the desert; logical proof of anything is never possible. Oh me of little faith. So the time has come now for me to rest myself securely in trust, not blind faith but fully informed.

Problems teach us to progress, so there’s no real relief from any through specifics, techniques and expertise, without sensing which way is up. When we’re brought to a certain looseness, an openness to being changed, and a comprehensive view of our divine expansion into greater love, this brings along effective healing as it leads us ever further.

We’re not trying to “prove” the mystical truths. We can’t find the absolute outside ourselves. The mind finds equal proof for either side of an argument. Opinions blow and burn like straw.

We may hold intellectual or emotional opinions about whether or not God exists, but only actual direct encounter matters. An atheist starts by retracing our missteps, so in searching for truth, we atheists may find God faster than if we had believed.

We find wisdom and knowledge experientially, within our own inner and outer life. And this builds up in layers that require periodic overturning to go on. We wouldn’t want anyone else to believe except through the proof of their soul’s recognition of its nourishment, of their own anecdotal living experience, falling in love with God.

As Chico Marx says, “Who you gonna believe? Me, or your own eyes?”

The White Feather

Dumbo the Elephant only gains the confidence to fly because he believes he’s empowered by a white feather. In the same way, in every path of learning, we start to exercise our ability to fly by relying on various white feathers, some material or mental techniques which we idolize. But eventually, like Dumbo, we drop the white feather, discard our faith in an outside power, remove the training wheels. We realize that, the whole time, we have already been flying due only to the one Activity within ourselves.

Someone in any religion who is simply praying to God in praise without seeking any worldly effect is contributing to transcendence, just as much as the metaphysical healers taking in a specific claim. So no one should imagine the “importance” and exclusivity of their role. Everyone sees results from their own belief system, so we don’t just go by that. We require humility, being beholders.

Help may come dressed as medical cures and such. Miracles interlace around each us. We can witness healing with only the slightest understanding of the principles. People with antithetical beliefs have seen healing. That help comes through us is no test of the most developed set of principles.

Every life fulfills a mission. Every belief has unique purpose. Whether through religions or any other approach, including “evil” ones such as the Nazis, every attempt to explore further is answered, to garner its specific harvest and also as a bait to lead us along, and so it will have built-in failures too, in order to stay open-ended. So a particular method may work for one but no longer suffice for another who is “plagued” with readiness to evolve.

The Homeplace Appearing As us carpenters: Our confining, cobwebbed misperceptions make scaffolding, vital for building our mansion, then meant to be dismantled and re-used, maybe as spires. When a broadening set of principles uplifts our life, this helps us bear witness to the fullest outer revealing, the manifestations of Heaven on Earth, and ultimately, like springtime, we find the entirely Renewed World already here.

We are made to be ruthlessly discriminating and self-critical, and more than once upend all we have built up, in order to move from physical awareness to the psychic stage and thence to the spiritual plane, as we’ve seen, not judging or condemning, but honoring these steps while seeing clearly. (After hitting this level, our days may mix all the three, as we dig deeper.) So Moses abandons the occult Egyptian throne, to become a shepherd in the wild, a newborn on the next plane. Our belief systems will always inevitably have loose ends; if we inadvertently tie these into knots, they will become conduits yet.

Every hypothesis we test along the way will magically draw evidence unto itself, so there’s no rest in proof, we continue traveling onwards, spreading sail to the tradewinds of spirit.

We build an open-eyed and absolute faith as our surrender to God living Its life as us, our reliance on God alone proves Its utter faithfulness in our own personal direct experience, a fundament under our healing crises. Faith in the Faithful One.

Triple-Tested

What existed before the starfields, where was I before being born? What happens after I die? Such questions may not be fully answerable, nor need they be, in order to fulfill this human mission.

Learning, living and leaning: Any wisdom we do gain is conferred by revelations in accord with our spiritual principles and convincing in their searing simplicity, and outwardly and inwardly confirmed. While we all get mistaken ideas, we must truly and newly admit our Real Self in. We may feel it instantly, “yes!”, that love at first sight, or be hauled out by our heels crying. Either way, a fresh answer that we finally find through inner recognition makes sense, and fits together with the perennial body of our other principles, come not to destroy the law but fulfill it. Then when large enough in scope, the new wisdom will miraculously alter and heal the scene around us, outer fruitage firming and confirming a principle. The small events of daily life also instruct us, as God’s always giving us hints.

Most profoundly, a principle will bring us inner experience, visions, insights, and feelings of peace, love and joy. Yet we do our homework, we test this triple strand, since we’re used to fooling ourselves egregiously all the time, and even divine revelations come out through a flawed and particular person. Eventually, through grace, we closely examine our conditioning and motivation without flinching, humbly collapse upon divine support, and rise from our sleep. Then the inner meeting becomes the rock solid foundation.

Faith and Works

Man cannot create a tiny particle, but only shuffle ‘em round.

We move wood or metal to factories where others shape them, in a dream. We do not know the matter beneath our hands. Sometimes, perhaps late at night lying in bed, a simple truth will hit us. Then we forget again. Years later we read that truth in a book and say Yes! once I realized that.

Everyone’s work is riding the waves---relying on them while also helping them---farmers riding earth’s fruitfulness, medics riding healing, politicians riding the rising awareness of peace and waving cooperation.

Real work and real knowledge is growing towards God. With our dream labor and milling dream logic we discover ways to grow food, heal sickness, build machines to do things. God is silent and unappreciated while with our conflicting doctrines we think we get the credit, so that the rituals of our jobs seem to choke the routes of grace. Actually, Grace alone puts food on the table, maintains normal health, or does anything.

The worth of work lies not in anything literal, rather in the character we hone, the myths we live, the care we extend. We’re led by unknown ways to our work, which is the face of divine Activity moving upon the waters, the shifting light of Love shining through

every stratum of our awareness.

Faith

    Faith: Sensing God’s faithfulness.

Faith: Then remembering that this is a sacred universe, realizing this surety and relying on it, is living faith.

Be loyal to your Employer. Everything constantly runs in mid-course, never wrapped up, so trusting surrender is the only seal of completion.

Eventually, we’re not requiring an experience, or proof of the fruitage, we just marry in our heart the God that is, always Is, and cannot be otherwise. Then the fruitage flows, not as a necessity, but as a guide. Desireless, protoplasm baby, baby in the next world, helpless. It’s all good.

    God believes in us.
