Building a Dome in the Backyard

Here you see my Router attached to a strip of 1/4" Plywood to act like a "Compass" in order to cut arcs to form the base and supports of the Dome

Each Piece is 6" wide with an outer radius of 8 1/2' and an inner radius of 8'.

Glued and screwed together 2 layers thick with the joints staggered, I got a really nice base ring.
