From Dave's Den:
Probably all of us have looked at clouds to see what we can see: maybe a dinosaur eating a twinkie or a cat kneading bread. We are possibly also familiar with the old "ink spot" test used by some psychiatrists. People look at various ink spots to see what picture they can discern.
Look at the
outline in the graphic to the right. What do you see? Do you see
and old woman? Do you see a stylish young woman? Both are
there, depending upon your perspective.
It really doesn't matter what one sees in such an image, but it does matter a whole bunch what we see in other people! What do you see?
Are people a nuisance to you? Just interruptions to your schedule, hindrances to your agenda?
Are they tools to use for your own purposes? Are they stepping stones on which to tread to further your own goals?
Are they potential friends? Are they precious individuals with important lives to blend with ours for mutual enrichment?
Are they souls to be won for the Master? Are they future brothers and sisters in Christ to whom we owe the gospel?
When you look at people -- what do you see?
Yours for seeing the good,
Dave
