My father was a drill sgt; at fort ord 1967-1969; He has lost touch with all his friends from that time and would love to here from anyone that knew him or was trained by him; If you remeber please cantact me via email so I can get info to have him remeber his friends from that important time in his life; Thank you for all you have done; I owe all veterans my life for what they did for me; I am a lucky one, I still have my best friend, My Dad, Sgt; Don H; Pedersen, Fort Ord, Ca; 1967-1969

I have a male Schipperke named Buster; A fellow co-worker of mine had two show up in her yard one day and didn't know whose they were; She contacted all her neighbors and checked posters but no one claimed them; She was going to take him to the local animal shelter but I rescued him; His mate disappeared before we went to get him; He is truly a character;

My father passed yesterday; he served in USAF and was minimally injured at 'the'Bein Hoa Blast, little snag on the ankle from one of the later plane explosions, from shrapnel; He Was a Historian/photogropher at that time, USAF, may have been Tsgt at the time, Robert A Young of Massachusetts(Tampa at his death) We were estranged but his second Family, was curious about his past there; I had remembered some; Is there any web sight to find info, or discussion groups you know of?

Jim We have a schipperke in our family and love him so much; I can't begin to tell you what he means to me; I've had and have other dogs and also have two grown sons and a great husband but Sniper gives me that unconditional love that I think I have with my bigger dogs but Sniper gives it 24 -7 ; I loved your story ( poem) about Tuff; And feel good about the qualities of the schip in all the stories I read; Thats how Sniper is; We were trying to find a pup for my Father and Mother; It compared to getting a house loan for a million $; I was born a lover of all creatures; Four legged, winged and water lovers; I do'nt believe in puppy mills but it was getting silly; We finally found one in Iowa; Ilive in Ky; HOpefully he will be healthy , I know he will be wise; If you want me to I well write you back and let you know how it went; Give Jasper a kiss from me; Cindy

Our schip is almost 13 now, and starting to slow down a little; Pixie has been such a joy to us; Schips can be a handful with all that energy, but well worth the effort it takes; Your poem about Tuff and Jasper was very good

Today I attended a Dog Agility Show and sat next to a lady who owned a Schipperke, well I had never heard of this type of dog, so I typed it into the seach engine and here I am at your page ;;;;; thank you for introducing me to this beautiful Type of dog and your touching poem of Tuff ;;;;;; I cried;
