Tashi Choling, located on sixty-seven acres in the Colestin
Valley near Ashland,Oregon, is Pacific Region Yeshe Nyingpo's main retreat
center.

It
was founded in 1978 by Gyatrul Rinpoche and consecrated
by H.H. Dudjom Rinpoche. Since that time,
Gyatrul Rinpoche has worked tirelessly to develop this facility to its present
splendor. A thirty-five foot statue of Vajrasattva, two Tara statues and
a traditional temple and Lama residence have all been built and funded solely
by the generosity of supporters and volunteers.
Many
students live in the valley surrounding the temple and meet regularly for
teachings and practice. The grounds provide
a refuge for wildlife as well as a place of great serenity and beauty for
human beings.
