July 2000
Dear Friends,
E ma ho! Rinpoche is in town. What a blessing! Summertime is a good time to come out to Tashi Chöling to practice, for a visit, and to lend a hand with the many projects currently underway. Anyone stopping by the temple lately will see the great piles of dirt that alert us to the new septic system. Folks have really been working hard and thanks are in order. The usual suspects are very much appreciated, as well as Brian (with help from Malcolm and Heika) who installed a new watering system. Trish and the gardening group have been embellishing the garden and recently planted new trees. Thank you everyone, mentioned or not!
Parking Alert! We are now in the season of extreme fire danger and everyone needs to be very conscious of where you park at Tashi Chöling. PLEASE DON'T PARK ON ANY GRASS - tall or short, dry or green. There are several dirt and/or gravel areas specifically meant for parking, and thank you for using them. Happy trails...
