The Venerable Yangthang Tulku Rinpoche will join us as Vajra Master and will perform the neydren ritual for guiding the consciousness. Lingtrul Rinpoche will also be in attendance and Lama Pema Tenzin will lead as Umdzed.

Registration
Friday, May 17
8:00 - 9:00 am Registration for all retreat participants. We suggest you arrive early if you are coming from out of town. The first session will begin at 9:00 or 9:30 am.

Neydren Ritual
You may bring photographs and/or photocopies of photos of the deceased. The pictures will not be returned. Only bring pictures of persons not included in this ritual in the past.

Offerings
There will be daily tsog offering rituals, so you may choose to offer food you bring, donate money toward this, or make purchases in Ashland, a 35 minute drive one-way.

Accommodations
Places to stay near the temple are limited, and will be offered at extra cost on a first come, first serve basis. For those wishing to find rooms in Ashland, carpooling is encouraged.

Food Service
Tashi Choling Center is not equipped to provide food service. Students must supply and prepare their own meals. Please bring easily prepared items. We have very limited facilities.

Things you will need to bring
Due to varying weather conditions please be prepared by having mud boots or rubber boots & rain gear and/or raincoats & umbrellas as well as clothing for varying conditions. We expect warm weather. Also bring cushions for sitting in the temple and a flashlight.

Suggestions
Since this is an "open" retreat, you may attend as many sessions as you are able, but we are encouraged to attend the entire event. Please arrive to all sessions on time. We also ask participants to wear respectful attire, especially when serving the rituals and carrying out duties in the residence. When making offerings, please bring gifts without aroms. (When giving flowers, for example).

In the nearby town of Ashland there are several shopping areas where participants may purchase food, as well as laundry facilities. Bank of America, U.S. Bank, Wells Fargo and other banking institutions are located there also.
